I usually go there for a wash, set & blowdry and my hair always turns out wonderfully. My first relaxer there was excellent - the woman relaxed my hair perfectly. The second relaxer there was with a new woman. I asked for a Motions relaxer and I explained that I had a sensitive scalp and asked if she could relax my hair in the least amount of time. She said Ok - went in the back and began giving me the relaxer. I'm paranoid - so when she began putting it in I asked again is this Motions and she said yes and showed me the jar - it said Motions CPR. I said I didn't know Motions made a CPR relaxer she said yes, it's not lye. I told her that no-lye usually dries my hair out too much - she said this doesn't but it's easier on the scalp. So I said okay.
I got home and began thinking about the CPR relaxer - I spend a lot of time in the beauty supply stores and on the web - I don't know if Motions makes a CPR relaxer.
I emailed Alberto Culver the makers of the Motions relaxer and asked them if they make a product called Motions CPR relaxer. They told me that no, they have never developed a CPR relaxer but they do make CPR products. So I ask again - explained to her that I had a CPR relaxer by Motions put in my hair. She was kind enough to double check and she told me that Research & Development has never made a CPR Relaxer and it doesn't exist.
Basically - I was lied to about the product that was used in my hair. I wouldn't go there again even though they do excellent wash & sets and the price is really good. I will not trust them to put anything in my hair again. I'm just praying that it doesn't fall out or dry out too much.
