Went because I just needed a slight trim so thought anyone could do that. Figured Great Clips would be an easy solution to a few split ends. What I got quick was a butchering. I asked for an inch or two off the existing cut -- the girl then proceed to grab a handful of hair, totally dry, and slash a swath with 5 to 6 inches comming off my off my longer layers. I almost yelled stop--she said they were uneven and she couldn't do it any other way. I ended up with damage that will take over a year to grow out. I was in tears when I got home an realized how bad the damage to my long hair was. If you don't give a crap about quality and just want a quick slash job -- maybe a scraggly mullet under your A-line (which is the only cut they really know) by all means go get a quick trim and Great Clips.
