Antonios provides excellent value, at very reasonable prices, in a clean, tidy salon with very friendly, welcoming, and very capable staff. I am a professional male client, living in NJ, but come into NYC regularly to get my hair cut. George is my hairdresser, and i would recommend him to anyone. One from the traditional school, that knows how to use scissors so exquisitely, listens attentively and can cut any type of hair.

Karen Roy has been coloring and cutting my hair for many years. She does such a great job, I always get lots of compliments on my hair. I've never had any problem making an appointment, and Karen is always on time and very professional. She listens to me when I tell her what I want. She sometimes makes suggestions, but always leaves the final decision up to me. Karen has never been rude or arrogant. She is always friendly and accommodating. Georgia, the young lady who does the shampoo, is also very professional and helpful. She always has a smile and a kind word to share. Everyone in the shop is friendly and welcoming. They always greet me with a smile, and thank me for coming.

I have longer hair that gets thick as it grows so I simply told the barber, michael, to thin it out & keep the length. he was arrogant saying he has cut hair for 38 years & it should be another way. I told him to please cut it the way I told him to. he went ahead & cut it the way he wanted leaving all the length & thickness on the top & sides of my head & cut the length of the back making me look like a guido from the late 70's. These guys here are out of touch & stuck in the 70's/80's & should not be cutting hair. This was THE WORST barber experience I've ever had & will never return
