I was referred to Imagen by a friend whose hair I have admired. Her hairdresser must be very good because there were no available appointments with her for a month. Needing a cut and color sooner, I scheduled an appt with AMBER. After a brief chat about what I wanted, AMBER informed me that she would cut my hair without thinning, that her technique would "do the job without using thinning shears" and we selected a color that seemed appropriate. It took 2 1/2 hours for the cut (I have short hair) and color. I thought the cut was okay until I got home and saw the back of it. The color was horrible...much darker than I wanted and terribly ashy. I informed AMBER immediately of my dissatisfaction with the color and she agreed to a redo of the color in 10 days (although she preferred within 7 days, I did not have available time). The redo appt was scheduled and I left. After shampooing my hair the next morning, I found that the neckline was jagged and thin in a spot. I immediately called to schedule a cut correction for later that day. Upon my arrival and her inspection, AMBER declared there was nothing wrong with the cut. After insisting that she get her manager, I was gratified to hear the manager instruct AMBER how to repair the damage and cut it correctly. Correction done, I left, knowing that the color correction still had to be done. Returning today for the appointed Color Correction, AMBER feigned that the appointment was a consultation only and insisted that I had wanted my hair darker. Thinking she had me confused with another client, I reminded her of our previous appointment and was told that she "had written it all down and this is a color consultation only". I was informed by the reception staff that there are no managers on duty on Tuesdays. To say that I am unhappy and dissatisfied, is very mild. My $145 experience there will not be repeated! I will never return to this salon, but I will definitely tell everyone I know about my experience with AMBER.

The haircuts at Imagen Salon are terrible considering the price. I've had better haircuts at Cost Cutters for much less. Plus some of the stylists there don't listen or do what you ask. Stay away from this salon.

They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. My hair looked fantastic when I left. My stylist is amazing and I can always go out right after my hair is done here. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They have the best prices of any other upscale salon. They are extremely accommodating, offer an array of services plus a boutique with one of a kind clothing, purses, accessories and more! Although, the salon is very busy one is always made to feel like they are special and the staff NEVER rushes a customer even when you ask for an additional service that you did not schedule!
