I've only been to Sheerz once, but it was to follow the guy - Jeff - who has cut my hair in the past. He is excellent. I've had an emergency and had my hair cut by a girl (can't remember her name) there as well and she was very nice and did a good job.

Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. Summer cut my hair and destroyed it, so I called and made an appointment with the owner and she did more damage than good! NEVER go here!

One of my worst experiences in hair. Kristin sounded nice and was very optimistic and after she cut 8 inches of my long hair she said if I needed anything fixed to give her a call and she would fix it for me.....it shouldn't need to be fixed in the first place. After noticing multiple mistakes, I called her and left a message with my name and number, etc. It took 5 days for her to call me back, I accidentally missed her call and called her right back, thinking she would at least know my name. I started out with my first and last name and she sat on the other line silent, telling me she had no idea who I was. She finally remembered and we scheduled an appointment. About ten minutes after I hung up, I received a voicemail notification on my phone and proceeded to listen to ten minutes of Kristin talking crap about me to other ladies in the salon. I was obviously offended, I don't think that's ok to do, especially to a paying customer. I called her back to cancel my appointment, not even considering telling her why, but after she asked me why about 3 times I finally told her that I had heard her conversation and that her phone must've not hung up. She proceeded to blame it on stress and throwing in bragging points. I don't care for that salon, I would much rather go somewhere that has stylists who don't act like high schoolers.

When i called to set up a new appointment for the stylist Kristin to fix what she'd done, I couldn't get a hold of her for a week and a half. After leaving a handful of messages she called me one night, I missed the call so I called her back thinking she would know who I was. She was very rude saying she knew twenty people with my name. After the appointment was set up we hung up, and about 10 minutes later a voicemail was left on my phone. I listened to it and it was a ten minute message of the stylist making fun of me to the other stylist in the room. I feel like my original appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. Their equipment wasn't the best. It looked somewhat current but it wasn't advanced. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. My appointment felt a little rushed. I understand that they are busy, but I would have liked a little more time. I would not recommend this salon.

I will definitely recommend them to people I know. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question.
