I went in and asked for four inches off of my hair and a slightly angled bob with angled side bangs. I was told that the only way to do this haircut is for me to also pay for a shampoo and blow dry. During my shampoo, the woman scrubbed viciously and my head bumped the sink several times; she also scalded my head and when I flinched and pulled away she said "whoops, you can come back down now." She turned me away from the mirror and started cutting, I reminded her that I can only have four inches off due to a strict dress code at school. She told me she knew what she was doing. Another customer gasped and said that she would never get that much hair cut off at once. Other stylists walked over and covered their mouths and walked away and whispered to each other. No one stopped her, made suggestions, or asked me if this is really what I wanted. She took seven inches off my hair, made it all one length, and my bangs that I asked to be be no shorter than my nose are up to my eyes and she only cut about 30 hairs which look like messy flyaways that were chopped off during an accident. I left the salon and immediately cried. I will never go back to this place even to complain. I will never even go to another Hair Cuttery or low cost salon again. This is the worst place I have ever been and the worst hair experience I have ever had. I can barely even pull my hair back and my "bangs" are ridiculous. I am extremely disappointed and saddened. I hope everyone takes this review seriously and never has what happened to me happen to them.

I honestly don't trust many people cuting or doing anything to my hair. After ging there once they will be my choice forever, I love everything there.

I went to Hair Cuttery to fix the mess a girl at a really "up-town" saloon did to my hair. I paid twice as much at the other place and had to re-do the color, and go to the Hair Cuttery to have my hair cut fixed. Service was really quick. I felt the girl doing my hair was very knowledgeable. She listened to what I wanted, and gave me the hair cut that I didn't get at the "Up-town" saloon. I will definately be back. More expensive does not mean better. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. I would definately recommend.
