My wife wanted to get a cut before a vacation and a wedding we were invited to. She went to London Hair in Mount Pleasant SC and got completely butchered by the owner of the salon. And the owner was not even the one doing my wife's hair!!!! She (the owner) just intervened with the stylist who was doing the work and started cutting inches and inches off, saying: "I know what I'm doing, believe me." My wife tried to stop her, but she would have none of that. Even her own employee tried to stop her, but they were in different weight categories. You would think that it is impossible that someone would interfere for no reason at all, let alone the “professional artist”, but there were many witnesses to this and to the conversation I had with the owner after the “cut”. My wife cried for two days after, she could not believe that someone, supposedly professional, would blatantly disregard her wishes and instructions. After I spoke to the owner, all she could say that it was a misunderstanding and it was not her fault, she was just trying to help.
