I had an appointment here yesterday afternoon. I arrived on time, only to find the door locked. A woman came to the door after I knocked and told me the office was closed. I thought this strange, since I had received a phone call from the office a few hours earlier, confirming my appointment. She called the doctor to the door, and he explained to me that they had chosen to close the office due to the rioting in Tinley Park. Well, that was surprising since there was no rioting in Tinley Park, and also due to the fact that Tinley Park is ten miles away from this office. The doctor then told me "the safety of my staff is my primary concern." Strange....I thought the primary concern of a doctor was the well-being of his patients. I wonder if the office bothered to call other patients to inform them that the office was closing, or maybe they showed up to a locked door with no explanation. I have not received any contact from this doctor to see if I want to re-schedule. He might be a good doctor, but he will never have the opportunity to prove it to me. I would never seek health care from a provider who shows such a total lack of concern for patients.

Have been going to Essential Chiropractic for work related neck and back pain for several years now. Dr. McKenna is an incredibly kind,knowledgeable,professional.The pain relief is amazing.And the office staff is awesome also.

Really nice group of people at this office. Professional and great atmosphere. So friendly that all of the patients talk when they are there. It's different you have to visit a few time to see yourself. It is like going to a friends house and talking to people while visiting your chiropractor. Funny but true. Here is a few good words to desribe ... down-to-earth, caring. There are good people out there and these are a few of them :)

The office is immaculate and a true five star experience from start to finish. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is absolutely beautiful. Dr. McKenna has done an amazing job creating a healing environment. I started care about 6 months and never have felt better. Nancy, the massage therapist, is hands down one of the best therapist I have ever seen. Keep up the great work!
