This place is like Great Clips --- except at Great Clips they ask you want you want and how they can help before they start running you through their cattle care system. Beware, this place will run a full mouth x-ray on you before you have an exam --- this is a huge profit system for them, and no one even talks to you before they require this. Its medicine/dental care in a non-personal way.

I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Dr Lucero was very informative on all treatment and services being performed and the office staff was of great assistance in providing me with an out of pocket estimate based on my insurance coverage. I was even offered financing. I will absolutely tell my coworkers and friends that I have found a terrific doctor.

My teeth cleaning felt very rushed. I was disappointed that they didn't take the time to clean my teeth thoroughly. I don't think they were very experienced or well-trained. They didn't know what they were doing at all. I was worried that I was going to be in a lot of pain during my procedure, but they gave me a local anesthetic that took the pain away. I was very comfortable the whole time. They didn't display their qualifications. It made me nervous. I did experience some pain that I felt could have been avoided, but it wasn't too bad.I would not recommend for others to go to this dentist because she isn't a very honest person, I have a lot going on in my mouth and she failed to tell me. other dentists had to inform me of how poorly work has been done in my mouth.

Unfortunately, my first review is motivated by the great amount of disappointment and anger I felt when I walked out of the dentist office today! To get to the point: First, the dentist was not friendly nor did she make me feel comfortable about my cavity. She filled it very promptly and in a hurry. Now each time I floss, the floss gets caught on a rough edge that was never smoothed out during the filling. My tooth has now become sensitive because I have to force the floss to clean above the jagged edge and under my gum. Food very easily gets caught between my two teeth now. Second, the office staff was by far my WORST experience. In short, they were very unhelpful and rude! They treated my concerns like they were a burden and got snappy after I asked reasonable questions about why there was a discrepancy with the insurance claim. In the end, there was one helpful woman there who stepped in after she realized how unprofessional her coworker was being. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I am very disappointed being a resident of Uptown ABQ with the service I received here. I would recommend another dentist in Uptown if you are looking for exceptional skill and service.

Most of their staff is very friendly and professional. I was satisfied with my visit. The office was easy enough to find. I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed.
