When my dog suddenly passed (quite violently) less than two hours after I administered a new Rx prescribed by them, I called the following Monday looking for answers as to what happened. Dr. McLaughlin said she would call me back "Thursday or Friday". It's been three weeks and still no phone call.

We took my dog to the ER vet (UF in Ocala) that night where they handled arrangements for his cremation and return of cremains to us. Although they didn't even know us, they sent a sympathy card signed by the entire staff. Additionally, his cardiologist in Gainesville also sent a card to us signed by their staff. Even the crematorium sent a lovely message. But his primary vet, of 12 years, who prescribed the new medication? NOTHING. We weren't even afforded the consideration of a return call.

This is the epitome of adding insult to injury, and leads me to believe this was intentional to avoid addressing responsibility. Extremely disappointed to have misplaced my trust in this office. There were other red flags, so my recommendation is to listen to your gut and not blindly trust when it comes to treating a pet you love. I wish I did. My dog's life mattered!
