I went to LaPorte City Vet Clinic because my regular vet was not available when I ran over my dog. Dr. Meester was so nice to us, even though we arrived two hours after the office was closed for the day. He made a very bad situation much better, explaining EVERYTHING, what injuries the dog had, that they were non-life threatening, that we could expect a long recovery but in time he would be as good as new. He was right on the money, though at the time I really didn't think my dog would ever walk without a limp again. After over a month passed, we revisited the office to make sure we were on the right recovery path, concerned because our dog still limped. He gave us three pills and advised an aspirin regimen to follow and within a week, no more limping. Our dog is not only as good as new, but we have switched to a very compassionate and knowledgeable vet!
