They have treated my dog for ear infections and to get sewn up after a fight. Dr. Meeker is amazing with him every single time. I can't say enough abt the care or the cost.

We had to take our Boxer in for an emergency c-section. We were told by a vet that if they did it it was going to cost about 800.00 and we had already spent almost 300.00 to see how many puppies she still had. A friend of mine has gone to Dr. Meester and the 4th St. Vet Clinic for many years and told me to call them. I did, it was about 5:00 in the evening and they told me to bring her in. Dr. Meester and Dr. Goose did an amazing job and saved my girl and her babies. We now have new vet. Will not go any where else.

It was some of the best pricing I have seen

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

Never! I don't think I've ever been put on hold here for a long time

We came here after going to another vet in town for years. The other vet had told us that our dog was having heart trouble and our dog would have to be on medication for over $200 a month. We cannot afford anything like that, so we took our dog here for a second opinion.

The other vet was correct but the medication offered here is only $25 a month and our dog is doing amazing now (completely different dog, like a pup again).

Dr. Meester told us our dog has many, many good years left and the other vet was telling us quite the opposite story. Also later found out that an operation the other vet did to our dog in the past (and we almost lost our dog because of it) wasn't even necessary....it was just cosmetic. The issue never would have bothered the dog. And was highly $$$. Ugh!

I love this place and will never go anywhere else. Plus the receptionist lady is super nice as well. So far everyone we have dealt with here in Vinton and in La Porte City office, has been very, very kind.

I went to Dr. Meester with my dog in the past, and when I took my cat, I thought he did a good job with her. However, after the medications were not working, he seemed very annoyed when I would call back and ask questions. Long story short, he told me my 13 month old cat was in kidney failure. After getting a second opinion, she just has irritable bowels and will be okay! I am so relieved, but won't go back to 4th Street.

Not at all, they are always so organized here with making sure the vet is never too overwhelmed to ensure the best service

Absolutely! It is right off the freeway and close to everthing

Absolutely, the kennels and holding areas were some of the cleanest I have ever seen
