Best vet in northern Missouri. Dr. Mitts does large animals, house pets, orthopedic surgeon, and ophthalmology. Has been our vet for many years. Prices are great. All will be lost if he retires.

My 1.5 year old pit mix tore his ACL. Went to Dr. Mitt and was completely satisfied. surgery went great and he is back up and running a few weeks later. Also the prices were a lot more reasonable than most places.

Dr. makes house calls for horses after he has worked all day at the clinic. Plus, when I did need to bring my horse in for dental-teeth floated, I was there with my horse thru the entire process.

The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain. I would never recommend them to anyone. Communication between the owner, front office staff and vet is poor. Very frustrating. I felt they didn't listen to me. They just went ahead and did whatever. This provider really rushed through my appointment. I don't think they were at all thorough. I am never taking my dog there again. This was my second time and the last. Vet is nice but again the lack of communication is too frustrating.
