They did a great job caring for my high strung mini pin. The doctor went over every detail of his post-op care for us, ensuring we understood what was needed. They also called the next day to check on him.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Steven Schafer and your wonderful and attentive staff. You all are THE BEST. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Schafer and the Scotch Plains Animal Hospital.
I have been to Dr. Schafer twice now in the last month, and he has made thorough examinations of my cats' needs (worms, ear mites, etc.) and taken great care of them. They are gaining weight and continue to improve with treatment. I am so impressed with their progress after visiting Dr. Schafer.
He pays close attention to me and all of my questions are answered. And I follow closely his instructions as well.
I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future with the three senior cats I adopted from the animal shelter.
The office is always clean and was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.
Dr. Schafer and the Scotch Plains Animal Hospital have me for life. Again, I highly recommend the entire team.

Absolutely, I knew exactly what my pet had and what treatment options were available.
Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns?
Not at all! They were happy to address every concern I had
Was this veterinarian gentle when caring for your pet?
Unbelievabley gentle, it is very apparant they truly care about pets well-being and comfort
Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
Was it easy to find parking at this provider's office?
Extremely easy, and close to the entrance
