Dr. Goodnow was recommended by my landlord when it was time to put down my beloved husky because our regular vet treated us more as a dollar sign than a family trying to make a difficult decision. I am soo glad I took my landlord's advice and went with Gardiner Animal Hospital. Dr. Goodnow and his team were soo kind and soo compassionate that they made what was a very tough thing to do that much more bearable. They even suggested helping her enter into rest outside underneath a tree with the sun in her face - something that was her favorite. So that's where we decided and it made it a more comfortable environment for all.

No, my decisions were always respected

Very! I've never seen an employer treat their staff better
Did the veterinarian allow you to stay with your pet at all times?
Absolutely! I was never asked to leave and stayed with my pet the whole time
Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. They have a huge selection of medication available for pets and are very knowledgeable about each brand provided. Every time I pick up medication they always have what I'm looking for and have never been out-of-stock. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place.
