I have been taking my 2 goldendoodles here for 2 years. They quit selling heartworm pills so I had to start ordering online. (for some reason they seem limited on what they can sell or drugs they can use) I found out early on they spayed and neutured my dogs & boarded them without having a bordatella shot. Then today I found out by ordering heartworm pills online - they never tested one of my dogs for heartworms and she is now 2 years old! (plus they had previously approved heartworm orders online without her having the test!) The problem is not Dr Gordon he is good with the animals...but a tech (sandy) that has worked there forever thinking she can practice medicine. She never once noticed my dog did not have a heartworm test !!! She even had the nerve to say that I had refused a heartworm test... if i had refused it why did she approve previous heartworm pills online) I have never declined anything they told me my dogs needed. She boarded my dogs for their spay/neuter surgery knowing they did not have bordatella. Go someplace else ... any place ... but do not go to Gordon Vet in Covington TN.

I took my little dog to get a check up. He was old and I thought he had some type of problem because he didn't feel good most of the time, bladder problems I thought, and a huge stomach. The vet there was a little rude and made me feel very stupid. He said my dog had a protruding stomach and when I asked what he meant he laughed and said he was fat. Several months later we ended up in the ER and ended up having to put him to sleep because his body was shutting. They mentioned his protruding stiomach and that it was a big possiblilty he had an enlarged organ. Gordon Vet in Covington never talked to me about that or anything. He told me to just keep doing what I was doing. It was not Mr. Gordon that saw my dog. It was his associate that works there.
