My personal story about this vet is... every single time I brought one of my animals to them - they found an economical way for me to take care of my animal. My first experience was when my cat had renal failure. Dr Branton was so great. She offered flexible hours. I could drop my boy off in the morning to be tested and leave him there all day, and she would call and do the consult over the phone. She did prelim testing in house to cut costs. I was thoroughly impressed. It cut my costs, saved me money and we figured out how to take care of my boy and keep him comfy. The next battle was my second oldest boy with FLUTD. He had this before- so luckily I had caught the symptoms before he became terminal. What impressed me MOST about Dr. Branton and her staff was, not only did they work with me on costs, but they cared. They fell in LOVE with Vincent Vega. Anytime we go in there now to pick up food or medicine for him the front desk just coos and says, "OHHHH THIS IS FOR VINCENT VEGA!" They really Love what they do, who they do it for and the animals. My boy was sick on a weekend that Dr. Branton was going out of town. She postponed her trip a day, called me, gave me HER cell number and had her TECH meet me at the office on a Sunday night to attempt to take care of an issue to AVOID sending us to the VET ER (saving costs again) when things sounded bad to her. This is a vet that cares about animals (and people who love them) hands down. I will always take my animals here. No matter where I live in the DFW area.
For 20 years now I have driven 1709 (Southlake Blvd) to go to work via 114 in Irving. I drove that road when it was only 2 lanes and the watched as housing after housing and business after business was built. But for me, the best thing that I look forward to is the riddles/jokes that are posted on the outdoor sign. Oh I know that they are silly and corny and sometimes bizaar but I absolutely love them. I look forward to them week after week and repeat them to my young grandchildren now. I sometimes even laugh out loud as I am driving the road and it makes my trip back and forth from Keller to Irving so much more pleasant. Thank you for taking the time to do that!!!
If I were in need of a kennel for my pet I would definitely take them here. The kennels and holding areas in their office were some of the cleanest I have ever seen. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. the people that work there are amazing and have all been there for the 5 years i have been going. low turnover at a vets means a lot.
