I took a lovely Min Schnauzer for a grooming and they trimmed him like a Terrier!! So Sad! All of his nice furnishing and leg hair gone!! Plus long patches of hair on head and neck that should never have been left! Do NOT recommend this groomer!! We're positively devastated!!

I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. This veterinarian was extremely friendly, and paid attention to both me and my pet. They really made the extra effort to make us feel welcome and at home. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to.
We have had great experiences with this establishment and cannot say enough good about how much they have cared for our pets and their sensitivity to those life times that are not so great. We had an extremely poor and tramatic experience several years with another vet in the area and when we found this vet it was the difference of day and night, we have been coming here for over 9 years now and have never had any reason to complain or be concerned. In fact our dog loves to go to the vet and actually runs in, he loves the attention. After the terrible experience with our last vet to whom we wouldn't take a rock to Stephens City Animal Hospital is a walcome change of professionalism and humanity.

In the past this veterinarian punched a kitten in the head for biting his finger. as a former employee I also witnessed him slam a dog down onto the x-ray table that had broken legs (or a broken leg). He has a very short temper and was very emotionally abusive to his staff. He was constantly fighting with his crazy wife and she was emotionally abusive to the staff over the phone as well This was a long time ago-over 10 years. I was just laying in bed tonight thinking and felt the need to write this review. I am sure there is much more that I do not remember as well.
I do not know why I never reported this- I think it was fear but now I do not care.
He is very nice at first and even has a great disposition at times. Never let him take your pet to the back.
