I had called because my dog was ill and I had some simple questions to be answered. So I waited on hold for about 8 minutes then once I finally got "the front desk" I explained to her that my dog was ill and i just had some questions. The lady over the phone was willing to answer anything I needed. So I continued telling her how my puppy was peeing blood. So this lady interrupts me stating that I needed to come in there now. I know this but I needed to know how much it cost's, because I am broke and needed to also find family members that could help me. She says, that is not important right now, that what is important is getting the puppy down here and let a doctor see her and "run some test's" to figure out if it is severe. So I said to her that I had a couple of questions. Then the lady says "I can not answer any questions, because I am not a Vetinarian doctor." So I asked if i can speak to one and she tols me "NO, that I would have to come in and after the wait (because of the line) that it might be an hour wait, and once I would get checked in that the doctor has to do the test's, then at that point, explain to me what is going on. As she continued "She stated again that my puppy is part of my family and money should not be an issue." All that made me feel was more stress because my puppy is everything to me but if I can just get my questions answered then I can move along. So I tell her, :Since you cant answer my questions, because your not a doctor can you just see if you know this one." And she says "Again mam I CAN NOT answer any questions." So I ssay to her "All I wanted to know is if I should bring the drop of blood in there and a stool sample that had some grass in it." And of coarse she answers the question and says "Oh yes of coarse, anything can help to figure out what is wrong with your puppy." So with all the frustration of just going back and forth with this lady, I said to her "Should I take your 'advice' seeing as of how YOU ARE NOT a doctor." What made this such a mission is, she would not listen to me. She did not help me at all. She would not just shut up and listen. She would interrupt me and make me feel worthless. So What I did was call another vetinarian that can answer my questions and what do you know, I GOT THE ANSWERS and didn't have to bring my dog to the vet because the method that they would have done is the same they would have done in the hospital. And the best part, is it didn't cost anything. I will never go there again. They over charge and use terms to make you feel worse about yourself and they dont care. It's just money in there pockets. I am such a reasonable person and love to listen if we see eye to eye. I'm very upset and frustrated with that vet hospital. They barely gave me any information at all. I had to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions.

Was this veterinarian compassionate when your pet was sick?
They were incredible. They consoled me and even gave me a hug.
