RabbitEARS uses Dr Scheenstra for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, mice, chinchillas and other small creatures. She is one of the best vets we have ever had. And we have been calling on her for nine years.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Scheenstra. My large, elderly dog was immobile. Dr. Scheenstra came to our house the same afternoon of my call. She did an exam asking questions all the while, and explaining her findings and impressions. She put the very distressed dog at ease, diagnosed a lumbar sprain and artheritis (I thought we were dealing with much worse) and perscribed meds that are making a real difference. She called back the next day to check on results. Very friendly, very thorough, very professional. She listened very carefully to all of my input and concerns. My dog's treatment decisions were made collaboratively. I had an wonderful experience and and will call this doc again for my other dogs. I'm happy to have found her. I know that any pet would benefit from their care.

They are one of the best veterinarians I've ever seen. I know I couldn't find better service or care anywhere else. I loved that she took he rtime with my pet, and didn’t rush the appointment at all. She made sure my pet was relaxed and that all my questions were answered. I felt like she really cared about both of us. I've always appreciated how flexible she us with appointment times. I immediately felt even more confident that I was taking my pet to someone who knew what they were talking about. My Sadie (pooch) has allergies and she helped me learn how to deal with that.

Dr. Scheenstra is a mobile vet and comes to your house! What a gift! She is totally wonderful in every way, and especially skilled at end-of-life issues. She has facilities she can use if your animal companion needs an operation, so don't worry about that. I could not be more satisfied.

They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. The staff went out of their way to make both me and my pet feel welcome. It felt like they really cared about both of us.
