Jim treats many of the horses at Marin Stables in Fairfax. He is always available and prepared. If an emergency comes up that will interrupt his schedule he calls everyone and lets them know of the delay and when to expect him. We all trust his knowledge and judgement, he is no - nonsense but compassionate to emotions in stressful situations, he's not afraid of a 'tough job' and shows the same caring for the simple jobs also.

They've stayed open past their closing times many times when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They fully explained my pet's condition. When I left I knew exactly what my pet has and what treatments are available. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for


Jim meant the world to us. He was there every time my darling mare, Easter colicked. His personalized service was only the tip of the iceburg.
We have since moved from the northbay and have never found another equine vet that fulfilled our needs the way he did. he was a one in a million Vet and we also considered him a good friend. We miss him and recommend his services to anyone that needs a very attentive and no nonsense veterinarian.
