The Doctors, vet techs and staff are the most caring people in a clinic I have ever been to. They care for your animal like they are their own. The check up phone calls after is a classy touch. I would recommend them to everyone. The prices are super reasonable. I have been going there for 9 years and I will not go anywhere else.

I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. They took my dog in for a teeth cleaning and polish. When I went in to pick her up, I got blindsided with a $429.00 bill. They had extracted a tooth without letting me know and left me waiting for over a half an hour with no explanation. I finally had to repeatedly ask for my dog. When I finally got her out I was so mad I just left. Then several days later I got a letter from Elida Malick basically saying " here you go, heres your paperwork to take to your next vet. No apologies, no explanation of the outragous bill, no nothing, Just a small explanation of the unauthorized work done.

This has been our favorite vet clinic for the last 15 years! It's very small, so you make friends with the employees quickly. They're friendly, knowledgeable and always honest and straight forward. I feel like we get more than our money's worth when we go here, and we trust them with all of our pets. We've tried other vets in both Amador and El Dorado county, but this clinic will always be our first choice.
