Dr Broderick was our dogs vet for 3 years before he passed and our new dog for 3. He is kind, explains everything and is patient. His assistant Dennis is like the dog whisperer. My pup just adores him. He also saw us during Covid when some vets wouldn't let you in (masked and distance of course) I appreciated it with an anxious dog.

Dr. Broderick and his staff took care of my cocker spaniel, Molly, from birth till death - almost 15 years. She was a very unhealthy dog and he took such good care of her. He is very kind, knowledgeable and caring. I don't understand all the negative reviews. My daughter also brings her boxer, Mya, to him too and she lives in New York because she trusts Dr. Broderick. We have both boarded our dogs there when on vacation because we trust that Dr. Broderick and his staff will take care good care of them. I highly recommend Dr. Broderick to take care of you beloved pet.

I am shocked to read these negative reviews. We have used the services of Dr. Broderick for all of our dogs in the past and for both of ours now. Our dogs are rescues and one is blind and the other is a tripod. Dr, Broderick and his associate Dennis have been fantastic in their care of our pets. The exams have been comprehensive and appropriate to the needs of the dogs. They have been handled with care and our questions have all been addressed quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to recommend Woodbridge Veterinary Hospital and Dr, Michael Broderick to anyone.

Dr. Broderick took time to explain everything CAT to me! I had just adopted a 6yr. Old kitty and needed to know lots of stuff! He has los of patience and did not rush me and answered all my questions!

I highly recommend this Dr and his practice!

When you visit your veterinary MD you expect a very professional person with competence, compassion and understanding. For close to four years we used DR Broderick for our pets and initially liked his approach. This all changed when our pet developed different symptoms and Dr. Broderick went through a number of treatment plans. He used to call himself "Pragmatic", however, I now believe he lacks in compassion and is driven by greed. Our dog illness progressed for a few years and DR Broderick was consistently trying new treatments. As time went by, our dog became aggressive (e.g. growling, biting me and other family members.). At that point Dr. Broderick referred us to a specialist who recommended we retrain our dog and laid the blame on us for our pets behavior. Seeing the specialist was a complete waste of time as our pet was just getting more ill by the week and as a result, the aggression never subsided, it built. After over a year of treatment, significant expense, we finally had enough and asked Dr Broderick to put our pet to sleep, he refused. We went to a different clinic and after a month of different, additional treatment, there was no change, the vet agreed and with reluctance, we put our pet to sleep.

My point is that Dr Broderick is not “Pragmatic”, and is really driven by greed, with little or no compassion for the animal. While Dr Broderick may be an excellent sales person and veterinary physician in preventive medicine, beware of his ability in diagnosing your very ill pet and his ability to end the pets misery.

I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. Dr Michael Broderick is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and went beyond what was expected of him. My dog had extensive knee surgery and she is very afraid of other dogs. DR Broderick gave her a cozy dog bed, blankets, and went to his practice two times during the night to make sure was not in pain, etc... I am shocked to read these other reviews as he always cut his fee for the sake of the dog and it extremely worried about animals. I have called on several other occasions while on vacation with my dog and he answers all hours of the night giving my FREE advice and he even follows up to be sure she was ok.

Michael Broderick man-handled my cat when she was VERY ill, like a rag doll, and defenseless. Michael actually did this in front of me! I spoke to Michael and expressed my disillusionment. My cat was social, receptive toward others and LOVED people!! Michael s man-handling traumatized my cat and contributed to the escalation of her demise! I spoke to Michael at length and finally told him how I felt he was overly aggressive with my cat. Michael became defensive and expressed NO REMORSE or apology! Michael also overcharged me & argued with me when I asked for a refund. This man NEEDS his veterinary license REVOKED! DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS TO MICHAEL BRODERICK. His practice needs to be shut down!!
