For the most part I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with my dealings with this business. I have had several back and forth conversations about the equipment I had purchased.
Originally in December 2018 the order for a wheelchair and cushion was delivered. By the middle of February 2019 a weld had broken on the chair and the cushion was flat and useless. I called Express HealthCare to let them know what was going on. They eventually brought a new chair and cushion out. After 3 or 4 days the cushion was getting flat and the strap to secure the cushion had pulled out of the cushion. Now keep in mind the cushion has a 90 day warranty. I called them back once again to let them know the problems I was having. That was on Friday, now its Wednesday and I haven't heard back from them so I called again to see what was going on. The person i was speaking to started giving me attitude saying that the owner had advised her that they have already replaced the cushion once and they won't replace it again because they are to expensive but they would let me purchase another one.
EXCUSE ME but it is a defective cushion. The only thing she would do is put me through to his voicemail. I have left a fairly descriptive voicemail and we will see if he calls me back. If he does and provides me with a good resolution I will update this post. If not I will do everything in my power to get everyone i know to boycott this business.
Very Poor Customer Service.

WILL NEVER, EVER DEAL WITH THE FAIRHOPE OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER LOCATIONS AGAIN!!! SOME OF THE ABSOLUTE RUDEST PEOPLE TO EVER WALK THE FACE OF GODS PLANET!!! ESPECIALLY ELIZABETH!!!!!

Did not deliver the wheel chair to the Rehab Facility, requiring my wife to fetch. I do not believe the chair is operating correctly and will contact this vendor for resolution.

I called and spoke with some one about a prescription for a knee scooter. I was told Express had one in stock and that they would have to get my insurance information to give me my price. My boyfriend came in with my insurance card and driver's license, my Dr's office faxed the prescription over and I called and verified my benefits with blue cross. Blue Cross said I had met my major medical and that they would cover the scooter at 90% and I would have to pay 10%. Now, to be fair the lady I spoke with by phone was very nice and said that once my boyfriend brought my insurance info they would set everything up to have the scooter delivered once THEY verified my benefits with blue cross. When my boyfriend arrived the girl that waited on him automatically said blue cross did not cover the scooter. She never got my blue cross card or number to verify my benefits. I called blue cross again while my boyfriend waited at Express and they said no one other than myself had called or attempted to verify my benefits and that Express needed to call them to verify the benefits. I called my bf back and while I was on the phone with him, he asked the clerk to call blue cross back and offered her my insurance card to use for verifying my benefits. She refused to call take my card or call blue cross. I notified my Dr's office about the visit to Express. They will not be referring any patients to Express and I am calling Blue Cross since they are in the preferred network provider list and also the better business bureau and any other agency associated with medical equipment or supply companies. I am very disappointed and would not even have given them 1 star except for the fact that I had to click a star to write this review. My fb got my prescription back and is now on the way home WITH my scooter which blue cross covered 90% of.

Communication with this company has been non-existent. Every promise they made to me has been broken. They do not as a general rule call back when call backs are requested (with a one time exception). I have not been able to get much needed supplies because their automated calling system would call, I would press the appropriate buttons to receive supplies and also request a call back....but never received the supplies or the call backs. This has been the case for almost 3 years. When I call directly, communication is also lacking, I am sent from person to person for answers and when answers are given, I'm told to expect one thing and then when it never happens and I follow through again, the answer is all of a sudden different and I still don't receive my supplies. I'm now looking for a better provider (one who will actually provide) for my medical supplies as I have utilized other providers for different supplies in the past and Express Healthcare is the only company who has not given me great service, who does not communicate well or return calls and who has not provided me with much needed supplies.

This company is one of the few left that understands the concept of customer service. Every staff member I spoke to went above and beyond to work with me and my insurance coverage. When my hospital bed stopped working in the middle of the night, they sent a technician out to fix it. At 2:00 am. Name another company that would do that if you can. I absolutely recommend Express Health Care without hesitation.

They make no effort to make me feel special. I don't think they appreciate my loyalty to them. It was obvious that they didn't take any pride in their office's appearance. I don't think that place has ever been cleaned. They left me completely alone for a long time and I became very nervous. They never made any effort to follow up with me after my visit and it made me feel very unimportant. I know they see a lot of patients, but when you say you're going to follow up, you should.
