I was directed to this Apria officeby the U of Colorado Clinics. I was told to walk in on a Tuesday or Thursday, no appointment needed, and all UCH patients would be assisted. The woman at the front desk said since I used the south Denver branch, I couldn't get service there. Also that the UCH clinics need to stop sending people there because they won't/can't help them. This is Apria Healthcare..seems like they should be able to provide service to all who have used their services in the past, no matter where it was before. At my next appointment, I am going to ask if there is another company we can go to. Will also call my insurance to find out who they will accept. Apria is a pathetic provider..

Their phone tree gives you the run around, then dumps you. They say they will pick equipment up, then don't show, stating they called (from their personal cellphones), but no one was there. who would know these people's personal cellphone numbers, and if I don't know them, why would I pick up the phone to someone I don't know?

I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. Every time I'm put on hold here I have to wait quite a while for them to get back to the call. Although I have had to wait longer at other places, I was still pretty unimpressed with their phone etiquette. They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed.
