Apparently when this company closed, they turned all their accounts over to a collection attorney. The explanation from the company at the time of service was that Medicare covered diabetic supplies and there was no charge to the patient. No bills were ever sent out, but now we are being HOUNDED and threatened by this collection agency. What do we do?

Trying to rip people off and put bill collectors after me and others for diabetic supplies before Medicare changed the rules in 2013. They positively promised no copays at all if you had Medicare or Medicare plan and sent supplies for years. I reported them to the Attorney General in my state and no answer. FL Attorney General has been notified. I dealt with another company shortly before Medicare changed the rules and they are not doing this threatening collection tactics.

As was explained to me by Fortress Management debt collector, I owe AMS over $2000, because my explanation of benefits from SSA say so. It does not matter that Advanced Medical support told me that they would accept whatever my insurance paid. I never got that in writing. They never sent me a bill but 3 times, when I had not met my deductible with my insurance. I paid these. They seem to have gone out of business as far as offering diabetic supplies, but their clients are expected to make up the difference for their ineptitude.

i was told that i would not have to pay a co pay as long as i met my medicare deductable. one time i did not so got a bill for 65.33. i paid 20.00 on it and still owe 45.33. since im low income what medical didnt pay i was told it would be taken care of. that was back in 2012. now im getting collection calls saying i owe over 1000.00. i have paperwork showing the 45.33 balance. advanced medical can not be reached. is this a scam?

This company promised diabti. Supplies with no copay and not a penny out of pocket I'd you had medicare or a medicare plan. Medicare changed the system in 2013 and they are not a provider now. 5 years later I get a phone call from a collection agency demanding money. I signed no paper and this was over the phone. Supply after supply sent with no bill, no invoice. Just a packing slip. I
Ringed out a review from 2008 showing a promise to a woman of no copay. Wat goes here??? Stop the threats and take it to court. I got proof.

Why won't you answer your phone so we can discuss this stupid bill you keep sending to my 90+ year old mother for items that she got last year and didn't bill her for until 6 months later? She's not even using your services any longer, she has different insurance, and I was told that you would drop the bill amount to $100, and she recieved another one last week for the full amount. And since you DID put it to my attention (since I am POA), I know that this bill for the full amount was generated AFTER we talked. I tried calling today (4/21/14) and got no answer. If you send another bill for the agreed upon amount of $100, we will pay it, but not until.
