I used BayCare HomeCare services over a year, of an on, with an occasional break between 6 surgical procedures from orthopedic surgery up to and including amputation of a limb. I got to know quite a few nurses and made quite a number of friends. The only problem is that, they are gone now and I miss seeing them, but I do keep in touch with a couple of them with e-mail. Sometimes, I had to wait longer than I wanted sometimes. Occasionally, if I had an emergency with any of the equipment, I had to wait for several hours to be seen, depending on how many nurses were on duty, and how long the appointments actually took, and, of course, the distance and time of day which determined the amount of traffic. On occasion, if I was out of something or only had a few of a certain item, I could count on the nurses to go the extra mile(s) to stop by the office to pickup enough of whatever product(s) happened to be unavailable or in short supply. Once, the nurse came out on what was supposed to be a routine visit, but turned into an ordeal which took over 2 hours due to the difficulty in verifying some information with my physician who had set up the initial homecare. I also met some really great physicians which was true most of the time, and one director of PT who is really beautiful, both inside and out, whose smile alone is palliative. I am still under the care of an oncologist who is also a member of the BayCare team. Thanks to the men and women of BayCare, I can still start each day with a smile confident in the knowledge that when I need them again, they will still be available to help me get through some difficult days in the future. Kudos, BayCare. Keep up the good work. We will meet again, sooner if you'd like to drop by for coffee.

I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. I could tell they really care about everyone who visits them. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience.
