Came in for one knee brace and attempted to find the correct brace myself because the staff totally ignored me while spending time at the front of the store laughing with each other. My husband went to get help and was told, "someone will get to you, we are very busy right now". Counting the 2 of us we counted maybe 7 customers in the store and they were walking around with no store employees accompanying them. About 5 minutes later a male staff member came over and asked what we were looking for. First off he gave the impression he didn't want to be there. He tried to get us to buy the most expensive brace within the first minute he came over. My husband is in a wheelchair and needed assistance from the employee to make sure he was getting the right brace. I had to measure his leg and put on the braces as the employee did nothing but stand there. We got to one b race and the employee said that "it fits perfectly ". How could he know he never provided any hands on. My husband kept telling him that it was very tight but the employee told us that it's supposed to be tight. We get up to the counter and the women at the register was ringing up 2 knee braces, well we only needed 1. She kept telling us that with this type of brace you must have them on both knees to work better. We objected to her lie and she abruptly pushed of the braces away in a huff. The woman at the counter and the sales rep were trying to get us to buy 2 $85.00 braces. Well we get the brace home, try it on again and guess what...it's too small. We brought the brace over to Will at health 1st and was told the brace is 2 sizes too small. Well you guys don't take returns so I cannot return it so enjoy the money and go out to lunch with it.

I have been in this store out of necessity before when other stores didn't have what we needed and have felt very uncomfortable while walking around. Many staff members are generally huddled together talking to each other and as I would walk by them they would stop their conversations and stare at us without any verbal acknowledgement to us. I personally feel like I'm walking into a members only club and it's members are looking down on me for intruding.

I have expressed my feelings with managers on two occasions resulting in my feeling worse off than if I just kept it to myself. I am aware how negative this post appears but attest it is the truth. I have brought these issues to others who have frequented the store and they recounted similar experiences and conclusions. For those who know what they want and there is no where else to go In the area may want to go to Vero Beach instead. I won't apologize for this post because it us deserving of harsh criticism.

Wow...what a horrid experience. The receptionist is incompetent. Vanessa in sales is a rude and arrogant "person". I asked to speak to a manager and the manager (Donna) sent me to another sales person because "She was busy". I then was transferred to her and even with proof of everything I was saying in hand...said "tough luck". Horrible horrible place. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to go this uncaring, all about the money, not about the patients business.

These people need some medical assistance device to get off their butts. They could not even call my claims provider to get any info even though I had a claims # and a scrip. Sorry I interrupted your texting! First trip there and no claims done on Sat. Came back Mon. and got this poor treatment. Contacted another company and will have it over-knighted. Easy

HORRIBLE, EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE, COULD CARE LESS, 3-5 HOURS FOR AN INSURANCE APPROVAL IS TOTALLY UNHEARD OF........NO OFFER TO TAKE THE ITEM, IF INSURANCE DOESN'T APPROVE IT WE CAN BILL YOU.....WHO HAS 3-5HOURS TO WASTE FOR AN INSURANCE APPROVAL.. WALKED OUT AND WILL NEVER GO BACK...............

Criminal or just criminally incompetent. After a small electrical fire in our apartment, my fiancee (asthmatic) couldn't use our c-pap machine. We took the machine back to Brownings and rented a replacement. I dropped the old one off and heard nothing else about it. Later, I had a billing question and found out that Brownings denied my ever returning the original machine. 2+ weeks of phone tag with them didn't resolve anything. I know I brought it back and have no idea what became of the machine. If you HAVE to do business with these crooks, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. I will never go there again.
