Customer Service was professional. Shocked once you receive a bill months after receiving several shipments and seeing the costs. Before a prescription was required the cost per catheter was way lower. Finally researched and found a lot lower cost per item (.52 as opposed to the $5.52 ea. charged to insurance by Liberator). If I pay 100% my cost now is less than the co-pay I was paying.

I was looking at a few companies to order my supplies from after my emergency colostomy.Received all the usual samples from the potential suppliers.

I decided to go with Liberator Medical. Big mistake!!!! Don't do it!!!! The sales person told me that because I was covered by Medicare there would be no out of pocket costs.

So I placed my first order. Then my second one some time later, then a third and so on. About six months into this process I received a bill for over $500.00 !!!! I sent a message (of complaint) via the online link, no response.

I called via telephone and just couldn't seem to be put through to a viable person with the authority to discuss this, they were all salespeople? I wrote a physical letter. Still nothing. But I kept receiving calls from sales reps for a reorder.

I continued to explain myself to these callers, to no avail. I had sufficient supplies to sustain my needs so I shifted into neutral and let Liberator come to me. Finally, I received a "late" notice. On this document was a number to call, I did.

I explained the situation to somebody in billing. To no avail. I asked why did you wait 5 or 6 months to bill me some ridiculous overcharges? Why was I being billed in the first place?

Medicare was paying them thousands! I will spare all you potential customers a lot of frustration and anguish. It was one undesirable conversation. Turns out that this is a family owned business with enormous internal problems.

Nobody is on the same page. I severed my relations with Liberator and began paying off the gouging (overcharges) issue. I'm still being contacted by sales reps for a reorder! Just received a call yesterday, which prompted this review.

Save yourself a lot of mental anguish.Order your supplies from another supplier!!!

Very poor service numerous call from representatives asked the same questions over an over an put on hold over an over then the wrong catheter sizes were sent an what was on the order form did not match the order. I had to return 2 boxes because of their negligence. My ins. paid the bill after I was told my co. would not be billed an I asked to be notified when my co. money was return an ignored. i use another route for my catheters for I do not need the STRESS from liberator medical supply. The television ads are not true!!!
