How do they get away with ripping people off like this. My equipment cost a fraction of what they charged me. This should be illegal.

Was referred by my surgeon prior to a LBKA. Went in spoke with the prosthetist for hours getting every question answered I had. Developed a treatment plan prior to surgery. Prosthetist I saw ( Pat ) sat with my family during my surgery, was first non family visitor after ICU post op just to check in on me. Came back two days later to fit me and show me how to use my limb guard protective splint. Was released and he came to visit me at home twice. Yes I know great service.... up until then. Pat went out for knee surgery. The office put me with Brian Moore for my casting and socket and leg fabrication. This is where every problem started. The boy doesn’t listen. I say boy because he is younger than me and has a superiority complex and treats his patients/clients with such disregard for what they say is happening to them. Prosthetics is a process. Check socket first .... ya they made my definitive socket first then two weeks later after not being able to use my leg they make me, he made a check socket. The check socket I could fit my leg and my hand in.... he wouldn’t listen to me telling him it hurt, that I could wear it for like 3 hours then I can’t wear it the next day. He told me I needed to learn sock management. WTAF????? How many socks is too many???? When you start the day with 8-12 it’s time for a new socket.... guess what I started with 8-12 after I walked out the door. My daughter tried to take the leg back to them so they could salvage it and I could go somewhere else to have one made. They refused to take it back. Now here I am 10 months post op and still not walking because they have a 1 and done attitude....this is not patient care .....they need to realize that prosthetics May be considered DME to insurance companies but for the PATIENT it is so much more! They also told my insurance company that I abandoned care.....what care, I could not do or without a prosthetic and Brian refused to listen to me even telling him he wasn’t listening to my concerns. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone that needs proper patient care or properly fitting prosthetics. Attached is a photo of my hand inside the socket he built me.... ya let’s walk with that!!!!
