I have had nothing but problems with regard to receiving my nebulizer medication by the time I need it. They always ask when i will run out...but still they don't get it to me on time. Every month I have to make several calls to check to make sure they are processing my order and still they can't get it to me on time. As of this minute, I have been out of this medication for 3 and 1/2 days and I found out I won't get it until tomorrow afternoon when UPS gets here... so that means I'll have missed 7 treatments...I do it twice a day. Lincare is totally unsympathetic to my plight....

I am a CPAP user and must change providers (from Park Nicollet Sleep Store, which was good) because of changes to the Medicare laws that require low bid suppliers.

But, I and Park Nicollet had to send 3 sets of paperwork before they could get everything together. Then, no call from Lincare, so I called the Golden Valley store and was routed to a remote call center, the call center was nice and polite and they said that they would forward my request.

No response from Golden Valley Lincare, after 3 weeks I called again, and was again routed to the call center. Their records show that I was called (we have an answering machine and get calls every day), but no call from Lincare was received. I called again and no local answer. I guess I just am not calling at the right time to talk to a local person and the call center is unable to get results out of Golden Valley. I suspect that the Golden Valley store just has the phone roll to the call center all day because they feel that they are busy enough.

NOTE - my partner was able to get good service when she was able to schedule a meeting. That was a few months before I tried to contact Lincare.

At this point I'll try to start the process all over again, perhaps with a place in St. Paul (and hour each was during low traffic hours, or perhaps the Lincare store in St. Cloud (an hour and a quarter each way). Nothing against St. Cloud, I just never travel that way unless I am going to North Dakota.

I have never seen the Golden Valley store myself, but I would not recommend them to anyone.

They needed to be accommodating to my schedule and completely lack any sense of urgency. Answers to my questions about their medical supplies left me confused and frustrated. I guess I'm going to have to go to someone else now, although Medicare is forcing me to deal with 'low bid' providers (I cannot deal with my prior supplier). I was disappointed that the organization is fragmented and apparently unable to have adaquate inventory on hand. They weren't outright disrespectful but they keep inventory in Florida, CPAP service is from Colorado and they had masks on display that they did not even sell. I don't feel very confident that my provider will see my problems through until they're resolved. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible.
When I first came to them, I had a broken facemask (so CPAP wouldn't be able to work), I only was able to get 'the' mask that they carry in Small (did not fit) - when I returned to get the right size for me, I got an Ex-Large (again, didn't fit) because that's all they could find in the inventory that day. I had to rebuild my broken mask or face sleep deprivation (leaving me sleepy at work, affecting blood pressure, etc.).
3 Weeks later, got a 'Medium' (which fitted me), but although I was advised that the nosepiece would need monthly replacement - It took 6 more weeks and repeated calls to get one. But they didn't send just a nosepiece - they sent an entire new mask kit. Meanwhile they were calling me to 'sell' me filter for the CPAP - they do that monthly - but the area that makes those calls needs to email whoever handles nosepieces. They are confused, have virtually no selection and handle a lot of 'other' DME (they have no sense of a patient's need for support).
I met other frustrated customers (apparently forced there due to Medicare Law and low-bid), I've written to my Senators and Congressman about this poorly designed law preventing Medicare covered persons from dealing with competent suppliers due to bids.
I also encountered other patients who were frustrated with inability to easily get CPAP DME from Lincare Inc. Golden Valley office.
