A member of the staff offered to check with my insurance to see how they could help meet my medical supply needs. I went into their office and provided them with the necessary information and was told I would be called back later that day. Two weeks later, I had to call them back. The woman who had offered to check with my insurance provider had absolutely no new information. I expressed my dissatisfaction and then had to explain my insurance to her. She refused to believe that I had the coverage that I claimed to have despite her having pulled policy information from my provider's website. Being the only in-network provider within 100 miles of my home, I tried to overlook this obvious displace of incompetence and tried to talk prices with her. She quoted me 3 times the amount I currently paid out of pocket and could not explain to me the reason for such outrageous prices. Her frustration with my questions became increasingly evident. I let her know that she had been terribly unhelpful. The staff member then said, "I don't care" and hung up the phone. The staff member I spoke with was completely unprofessional and incompetent. My mother left message for the owner to call her in hopes of savaging the relationship with the only medical supply store in our area. The same woman I spoke with called my mother at 8:30PM claiming I had "raked her." (she said this several times) I’d rather dive over 100 miles to buy my supplies than have someone call my mother at night to tattle on me for what they perceived as “raking” them.
