Just getting started with them. The US medical insurance system is broken. As frustrating as it is you need to be or have an advocate for yourself to wade through this quagmire. The Healthcare system is tired out and disenchanted. They try to help but have a long history of failure when trying to help patients and often not suceeding. Let's put the blame where it belongs. Offshoring compunds all billing issues, so find your local branch and work thru them.

Do not use Apria Healthcare! They had my prescription for a new Bi-PAP machine for 2 months and I never got it. When you call the local number, the call is routed to a call center in another state. You have to drive there to talk to someone local. They claimed they were waiting on insurance approval, but I called the insurance company myself and found out the approval had been given already. I called Apria back and gave them the insurance tracking number, and the lady said she would check into it and call me back within an hour. I waited 2 hours and drove there. Their computer showed that the Customer Disservice lady had tried to call me and got no answer, then called my wife and my wife hung up on her. Neither cell phone recorded an incoming call during the 2+ hours in question. The lady lied about trying to contact us! Enough is enough. I have ditched Apria and started over with another company, which called me in 3 hours and said I will have my machine within 4 days. The new company seems to actually care about my health and serving their customers.

Don't ever use this company!

Don't ever use this company! The office site is not really easy to find, everything is done by phone so they have minimal staff, and billing has been outsourced to some foreign country like Pakistan or India. Customer service was poor, billing was bullyish. Billing wasn't reasonable in prices or accomodation. I had a home oxygen generator for 3 months. Apria called me, some guy with an Indian accent that was difficult to understand. They said I owed them $315.00 that my insurance didn't cover. I paid that and the employee stated, "That is it, and our accounts are square with you." Today, some 2 months later, I get another phone call from an Indian guy, on my work phone, stating that I owed them another $475.00. I had an oxgen generator for 3 months, and I owe 800 dollars? I highly doubt the machine cost that much to buy. This company is obviously in the BUSINESS of profit, not patient care. The fact that they have outsourced their bill collections to India, and have no real office per se are highly indicative of that. If you need CPAP or home oxygen, shop elsewhere, this company is miserable!!!!!!! I would have much rather rated them "0" stars, because there are no redeeming qualities to this sess pool of a company.
