6 months later I receive a bill and have no idea what it is for. No way to pay online and no returned phone after several messages left. I finally discovered that I am paying $196.68 for a foot brace that our doctor gave us in their office.
Received a brace for my son's arm through another doctor's office. They waited over a year to bill me for it! It took me a while to figure out why I was even getting a bill.
They don't answer there phone or call back. They have no way to pay online and you can't pay at your dr office. And they charge a ridiculous amount 80$ after insurance for a simple arm sling.
Received walking cast from my doctor in Jan 2018 for broken leg. Insurance was filed. In September they began sending me billing letters . I was unable to get anyone on the phone.. BCBS says that they filed in the wrong area but they haven't been able to get a response from them in two months of trying. Must be jack leg fly by night outfit.
This organization price gouges. They charged my insurance company $230 for a simple wrist & thumb support which you could buy at any local drugstore. I found the EXACT same product (new not used) on Amazon for $35.97 with free shipping. The bill I received from them doesn't mention that they charged my insurance company $230, but that I owe $115. I owe only $115 because of my insurance 'discount'; not because my insurance is 'in-network'. It seems that they are only 'in-network' with insurance companies that are part of the Medicare plan. it specifically states on their bill my insurance company name and then 'NON-Medicare'. They are running a scam to rip off not only citizens, but the government.
My orthopedist recommended a boot which he supplied. From.his office. No one apparently checked to see if my insurance covered it, or they didn't care. This was something I was to wear if I would be walking a lot. I probably wore it a few hours each week for two weeks inside my home and leaving the doctor's office.
I JUST picked up today's mail and found a bill from this company for not much under $300.00. I went online looking for this boot , found it on Amazon for less than $100.00. It appears from other reviews, this company over charges TREMENDOUSLY, which is simply gouging and morally wrong. I wonder if this is due to doctors pushing this company's products for a percentage of the customer's cost. I'm very upset by the cost when I could have purchased it from Amazon..
I was billed $720.00 for one Playmaker II Spacer M - a knee brace. This company should be ashamed of themselves for charging this much for a product that probably contains less than $100 worth of materials. I understand the company needs to make a profit but this smells like price gouging.
manipulative, no business ethics. Double the price of medical supplies and refuse to bill insurance. I called them to return items and the response was, "we are not in the business of selling used medical supplies". You are responsible to pay for the items. The doctors office brought the braces for carpal tunnel and said just sign this document which states that I received the support braces. They do not bill insurance
