Worst customer service ever. My husband needed a negative pressure wound vac that was order by his doctor. Apria Healthcare provided this pump. It kept alarming so we called the support number and they told us they couldn’t do anything. Next day called support number and they took our name and said they would call back....3 days later haven’t heard a word back. Thank goodness the doctor said not to use it any more ( only worked for half the time we had it anyway). I called the number for a return pickup and they told me Fed Ex would just pick it up and get it back to them. I knew this was not right.... Fed Ex needs a label on anything they pick up. I called the number I had for the rep and she told me the company has a driver to pick up the medical equipment. I was not given a time so I called on the scheduled day of pickup and was told they would pickup equipment between 3:17 and 7:15pm. I told them I would drop it off at their location which I did. All they wanted was the pump, charger and bag but not any of the supplies. They actually told me to just throw them in the garbage. I guess that is why everything is so expensive. I’m sure the stuff I could not give them cost a bit of money. The bag given to us for the pump did not fit properly and it took 10 minutes to fit it in the bag. I advised my doctor not to use this company anymore. No one seems to know what they are doing. Do not use this company if at all possible.
It is very disturbing to come across a company like Apria. My father's doctor placed the order in March 2016 and here it is October 2016 and we are still battling to get my father's oxygen delivered. Yesterday they stated they would deliver it between 7pm & 9pm and they were a no show. Then they call at midnight to see if we still needed the oxygen. I said yes but not in the night when everyone is sleeping and requested it for this morning with no one calling or showing up. After calling the customer service person in California (we are in Albuquerque, NM) they said they will make it a top priority to get it here by 6pm. Well, we'll see. BEWARE CUSTOMERS !!!. I've thought about taking this story to the media. Apria wouldn't care if their delay caused a death.
