I have used Lincare Latham for over 2 years now and I've been very pleased with their services. Rick and Steve, who deliver my supplies , are friendly and professional. Missy and the others in the office have always been helpful and courteous. I have yet to experience the negative things that others are reporting. It's a pleasure working with all of them.
THEY SUCK!! They called on Feb 19 2020 to say that they have not forgotten me!! Yea right. Called on Mar 3rd 2020 to inquire about my CPAP. Chelsea was able to access my name and address but claimed she couldn't access my health file and that a therapist would get back to me. WHEN!!!!! A CPAP helps treat sleep apnea and I need one but apparently they are not really concerned with my health or they don't really like my insurance. I don't really know why I am being treated like this.
Worse service than time warner. Totally oblivious to customers needs. Company is open 9-5 mon-fri. That is when their customers work. No Sat hours? Spoke to me like I did not know how to operate my CPAP. I have been a customer for about 8 years , they have worked there for 2. Not only insulting to me but an embarrassment for the company..
They areait 5 days for 02 always a excuse when u call them they never call u and say going to be late. waiting again today for them to pick up 02 tanks. waited all day yesterday and they showed. waited all day today still not here at 2:30 wish i COULD CHARGE THEM $11 a hour for my time. this is not right they should close their business if they can not handle the job STAY AWAY FROM THEM Awful company not relible
I am the wife of a COPD patient who depends on OXYGEN for his life. 1.The first problem was after our move, TEXAS and LATHAM, NY couldn't get the account transferred--it's been one year!! 2. Stan rents a big concentrator and a portable concentrator from LINCARE. He was told 3 MONTHS AGO to turn the portable in for servicing and NOONE will get back to him about a replacement--VERY UNCARING ATTITUDE and EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED, and PLAIN RUDE! Stan owns a portable besides the one we rent (thank Heavens) and it is in need of a tune up--WHAT DOES HE DO? WE FEEL SO ANGRY AND HELPLESS! 3. Finally our insurance company company got through to them and we were told to provide ANOTHER PRESCRIPTION--we did and still NOTHING!! 4. LINCARE does take care of his Bi-Pap machine and service on his home CONCENTRATOR and the service representative who came out last week AGAIN because the LATHAM lost the record that he had already serviced the big concentrator three months ago and told us then to turn in the portable for a tune up/repairs. He was shocked to hear how Stan has been treated and we thought he would be an advocate for us--but still haven't heard A THING!! WHAT IS STAN TO DO IF HE OUT SOMEWHERE AND HIS PORTABLE GIVES OUT BECAUSE HE CAN'T SEND IT IN FOR REPAIR BECAUSE HE HAS NO OTHER PORTABLE?
Do we need a lawyer? Or get on a NEWS show about this? It's scarey and dangerous and I would think LINCARE wouldn't want a LIABLE SUIT if something should happen. My husband almost died before our move here so this is SERIOUS as is ALL your patients!
Poor service.Some staff rude. They never return ur calls even the after hour person on call. went 5 days without a dilivery made several calls no one called me back. have been skiped a few times over the years poor people skills there service sucks. at the latham office.
Company is horrible, they lie and most certainly don't care about you or your health. You are just a paycheck believe me. They now supply medical stuff for my granddaughter and what a night mare. She is trach dependent and we haven't received a trach since September 2015. I have filed complains with no resolution. Now I am filing complaint with NYS and the better business. And anyone else that will listen. Maybe I can file a lawsuit.
Lincare was my health supply provider some years ago, and I abandoned them because the service was abominable. Now I need a new machine and Lincare is the only available supplier, so I had no choice but to go to them for the product. It has been three months now and still no machine! My doctor sent them a prescription THREE times and Lincare claims they are not receiving them. Communication is AWFUL, they never get back in touch and you have to chase them for what you need, both info and supplies. NOT recommended!
