The nurses were terrific and generally on time and helpful. The office billed me for nursing visits that are covered by BC/BS of WNY, as stated in thier manual totaling $350.00 for ten visits but as I said they were covered. I was aggressively billed and contacted by phone for payment which was done. No nurse ever did an infusion on me, I did all twenty myself. No nurse was at my home for more than 20-30 minutes taking vitals. When I found out I deserved a refund and also used a Health Care Advocate in assistance they said I paid and to get my money back through BC/BS. I t doesn't work that way. So, I am contacting the Bureau of Quality Assurance& Licensure regarding their billing practices and meeting with a BC/BS representive about how responsible this medical outfit may be. There is another fine organization in Western New York that I've used twice before with a solid reputation for infusion therapy and I recommend them highly. The doctor that sent Option Care has been put on notice as who I want for any future services as well as all my other medical professionals. Check out Springville Pharmacy Infusion located in Chicago on Paysphere Circle to check them out. Doug I just couldn't seem to get all of my questions answered here. Every time I called I seemed like more a nuisance than anything, so I just gave up. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times. My appointments don't usually get canceled here, but it's not unheard of either. I never know, it's usually a 50-50 chance.
