I have tried to work with this company for over 9 years now. Getting anything done through them is difficult beyond all reasonable, normal, considerate, expectations. I give this company an F-- for customer care, problem resolution, ability to accurately fill orders, ability to accurately have your order ready when stated, and an entire serious host of other issues. Every time I go up there, Today 06-21-2017, my order would be ready at 1:45 PM, I arrive, they did not know who I was or why I was there! May I remind you, Agnesian Health Shop called me telling me when my order would be ready, and what time I should be there to pick it up. Directions I followed to the letter. During my 20 minute wait I observed the following employee transgressions, Personal Calls made on company time by the receptionist, Delivery of treats to employees, (kind of ok when circumstances warrant it, this did not in my opinion) Socializing with employees by employees. Among other things.

All the while, my self, an elderly couple needing a $ 2.00 item, and a mother and her young daughter sat waiting for their issues to be resolved. After some time the couple finally received their $ 2.00 item and left, then the treats came distracting the employees, a personal phone call was made by the receptionist to her family discussing where she would meet up with family or friends after work, THIS WAS AN OUTBOUD CALL BY HER, NOT AN INBOUND CALL.

Staff continued to sit around the showroom, which is very nice, but don't find what you need, pick anything up take it to the desk, pay for it, and leave, OH NO! You must Waite for a consultant to assist you when and if one ever shows up. A year ago I wanted an aluminum threshold bridge to facilitate my medical patients ability to cross the outside door threshold into and out of the house. This so they would not have to keep popping a wheelie in their wheelchair. I went into the area displaying the item I needed, $ 60.00 - $ 120.00 I recall. I selected the two piece more expensive one but was told I could not have it until I talked to a consultant, 30 minutes later nobody had showed up, so I left empty handed.

Finally the lady customer and her child were approached by an employee empathizing and apologizing for the delay, the pleasant lady stated that was ok and continued to wait patently. Then they came and tried to pull the same thing with me, Roger Du Bose, Former Executive Manager, Lewis-Gail Aids for Heath Care, 1986 - 1993, A Subsidiary of Lewis-Gale Hospital a subsidiary of Hospital Corporation of America, my facility was located in Salem Virginia. Well my reaction to their empty apology, for not doing their job, and for all the other times they have CONSISTENTLY FAILED to do their job, pushed me into a most unprofessional, very firm, dressing down of the staff the entire facility could here, as well as that mother and her child. To the staff, that mother, and to her child, I am profoundly sorry I behaved in such a distasteful manner. This of course is my second, sincere, and most profound apology to the staff. I received my patients item at 3:00PM one hour and fifteen minutes AFTER they said I could pick it up on 06/21/2017 the same date I write this review.

All this said, EMPLOYEES OF AGNESIAN HEALTHE SHOPPE, your modus operando is, has been, and continues to be, TOTALLY UNACCEPTAL AND TOTALLY SUB-PAR! You seem to have forgotten TOTALLY, OR JUST DON'T CARE DUE TO YOUR MONOLOPY, that when a customer walks in your front door they are a HUMAN BEING, coping with an annoying, or upsetting, or devastating, health problem for themselves, a loved one, or a caregiver looking after a patient who is ill, seriously ill, or end of life ill, who needs something NOW not LATER, or, WHEN YOU GET AROUND TO IT! Worse, like myself today, having no clue why I was there, after I was told to be there and at what time is just stupid and daft.

In closing I speak for all Agnesian Health Shoppe customers who have endured this silliness even one time! I am sure they have been far more kind and pleasant than I was today, again I am sorry for my temper and my outburst. My patient is my most important concern, I treat them with understanding, compassion, kindness, respect, and concern, and never, never ever, dismiss their needs, make lame excuses, or blow smoke up their backside, I DO MY JOB! Perhaps you should remember some of the words I try to live by, "EXCELLENCE IS ELUSIVE, HOWEVER, EXCELLENCE IS EVERYTING IN WHAT YOU DO AND WHO YOU ARE. Forever reach for it." "If you have to explain yourself for failing to do what you promised, don't bother, its just a lame excuse for incompetence."
