The examination room was filthy, with used needles all over the counter. I have never been to a vet that was as unsanitary.

I just dropped off my puppy and kitten to be neutered. I hadn't seen the kennels before but the kennels and holding area for pets were clean and big. The examining rooms at Animal Haven were immaculate. There were no bad smells and everything seemed really sterile.
I have taken my other cat there for the last year or so and she has some special condition, which Dr. Dennis is great at dealing with. He was very open to second opinions. He went out of his way to explain things to me in a level appropriate to my education.

His prices are actually the best in the area based on calling 6 different places in Iowa City/Coralville. He is GREAT!

If you're in the Iowa City area, this is the best vet you could go to. Dr. Dennis and his team are very friendly and helpful. They show that they actually care about my animals. They also have the best prices out of all the other vets in the IC area. I live in North Liberty and it is only a 20 minute drive down the interstate. Well worth the drive! I would definitely recommend this vet.
