The veterinarian Hippocratic oath states, " As a member of the veterinary medical profession, I solemnly swear that I will use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society. I will strive to promote animal health and welfare, relieve animal suffering, protect the health of the public and environment, and advance comparative medical knowledge." Unfortunately, the Veterinarian and the clinic's management team seem to have forgotten this oath! This week my friend brought her precious Chihuahua, Tiny Tina (a companion who had already survived a traumatic dog life) to this clinic because she was suffering from a series of seizures. After being evaluated (blood drawn, given antibiotics and fructose) by the Vet team and Doctor (refer to listed members on this site), my friend was advised that she looked better and finally told her they had done everything they could and told her to take Tina home. Upon returning home, my friend called another Veterinarian (the Doctor who had previously performed surgical procedures to repair her damaged front legs) but was located in Little Rock and he advised that Tina should probably be on fluids and be monitored. Due to transportation issues, they were not able to return to the Bald Knob clinic immediately and Tiny Tina passed away in my friends arms before they could arrange to return. The main issue is why was Tina not admitted to the clinic for more continued care and observation by the Clinic????
And to my greater consternation was the response I got when I personally called the Bald Knob clinic and expressed my concern about the care rendered and the passing of this beloved pet and was told by the owner that,"you'll have to just deal with it!", and she promptly hung up. Absolutely not! I was never uncomfortable

Yes, they were informing me of new advancements that were extremely recent

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in
