I had a very bad experience while taking my dogs to Haire Veterinary Clinic. My dogs do what most dogs do in an unfamiliar situation and being around other animals...they bark. You would think that this would be okay and accepted in a vet clinic, but apparently, Nikki, the receptionist and Mr. Haire thought it was inappropriate. While in the room with the other vet getting my dogs attended to, my dogs were barking. Mr. Haire walked by, glared at me and shut the door. At that moment, I didn't think too much of it. After getting my dogs taken care of I went out to pay. There was an elderly lady and a little girl at the counter. Thus, I sat down and put both dogs on my lap and waited for the elderly lady to complete her transaction. While I was sitting and waiting, my dogs were barking and Nikki rolled her eyes. The little girl asked Nikki why the bird wasn't talking and Nikki replied with "He's agitated." It was obvious that she was referring to my dogs. As I continued to sit there waiting on the elderly lady, Mr. Haire came out of a room and very gruffly told me "you need to pay and get your dogs out of here." He then stated "they are your dogs and you need to control them." I was somewhat in shock. I would have gladly paid and left with my barking dogs, but I was waiting on the elderly lady. Once again, my dogs were sitting on my lap....barking...nothing else, something you would think individuals working in a veterinary clinic would be use to. Mr. Haire may be an okay veterinarian and okay with animals, but he and his receptionist need to work on their professionalism. I try to give local businesses my money, but when you are treated with such disrespect, it is very hard. I have used this clinic many times, but will not be returning there. This is a small town. You cannot have a business and be rude to customers. You, Mr. Haire are not the only veterinarian in this town.

On January 2nd, 2014 - Dr. Haire performed a PU surgery on my male Himalayan cat and I couldn't be happier with the results - Dr. Haire saved my cat's life!!
Dr. Haire was professional and his staff were very busy but also very polite.
My cat was taken right into surgery and it was performed in about an hour, which was nice because I drove almost 2 hours to get there.
Dr. Haire was courteous and considerate, he is very skilled with the PU surgery - very highly recommended. Also, the cost of the surgery was 10% of the cost the Emergency Vet in another town quoted me!! My cat recovered extremely well and is happier than I've ever seen (he's sitting in my lap purring as I type this).

Yes, they offer a huge selection of medication

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!

No, they didn't wear any cologne

I usually have to wait on hold for quite a while, but not as long as some other places
