I'm sure if I'd had a normal (cat/dog) pet, things would have been different but, I had a rabbit. There are very few vets in this state that even see them. So, when the x-ray came back and showed a small bladder stone, his immediate recommendation was to put her to sleep. Later on, I found a couple good rabbit vets that told me that it didn't have to be that way. So be careful who you take your pets to - even in an emergency.
