Convenient if you live in town, but its worth the drive to go to Dr. Winter on Wood haven. Dr. Mike is one of the rudest people I know. No compassion for animals or humans. Don't get me wrong, he is nice to you if it will benefit him in this little town. I've experienced his rudeness at least 6-8 times and no more. I feel sorry for his staff!

This veterinarian was so compassionate when my pet was sick. I can tell that they really cared about my pet's well-being and reassured me that things would be alright. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. One thing I did enjoy was the waiting room chairs. They were comfortable and I didn't mind waiting in them for the appointment. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time.

They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. They were so informative, and thoroughly answered every single question I had regarding pet care. I left feeling like I really learned a lot. Unlike other veterinarians I've been too, I have never seen them appear overwhelmed by too many pets. They are extremely organized and make sure the vet has plenty of time to see each patient for as long as necessary. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.
