Even though my cat, Romeo, was not a registered patient, the clinic's staff, in particular Dr. Andrea Burkhart, went out of their way to treat him for an oozing abscess. The emergency occurred on 12/30, and Dr. Burkhart tended to Romeo even though I arrived after closing time. Then she called later in the evening from her home (with childrens' voices in the background) to make sure that I had understood her directions for home care of the wound. The wound has healed very cleanly and quickly, and both Romeo and I are very grateful to Dr. Burkhart.
