As an individual with a chronic diagnosis and frequent hospital admissions, this was one of the best admission experiences I've had. My attending physician was amazing and so were my nurses especially the nurse that was working when I was discharging.
I would like to thank the Spring Valley Hospital for helping me in my time of need. From the E. R. staff, nurses and Dr. Sun. To all the doctors and surgeons and surgical team and staff from Spring Valley Hospital and the Las Vegas Medical Group. Including Dr. John S. Davis, Dr. Gabriel, Dr. Lee, and Dr. Thanki. Doctor Wahide, Dr. Rassaq and Dr. Weller. To all the other doctors, nurses, radiology and imaging departments that took care of me. I appreciate one and all and I am grateful and thankful to each and every one of you with an attitude of gratitude. Thank you.
For my first birth, I had a great experience, the staff, nurses, doctors were amazing for the most part. I will have to share that some of the nurses are like robots and not human beings with feelings. Outside of the few bunch that weren’t as “ warm” my birth experience was great. My delivery team was amazing, my nurse Kimmie was by far the best ever.
I was admitted at the facility due to a car accident. They put me in a waiting area. Someone came in to take my information. After a little while the doctor talked to me and told me that they will do a ct scan on my head and neck. 40 minutes later an aide came in and took me to the ct scan room and then I was brought back to the waiting room and stayed there for 3 LONG HOURS!! Will I go back to that facility?! NEVER! People go to health facilities due to trauma or they’re hurting. A little care or empathy from the staff can go a long long way.
The ER trauma was absolutely horrible! Nurse Whitley was rude and saying she came to work for “fun”! I asked for my Dr. through ER tech’s and nurses she dismissed and she dismissed my son. When I was wheeled over to ask questions she walked away and told me “what do you want me to do? I don’t know where your Dr. is”! I was briefly admitted and learned the Dr. left and no one could find him and I somehow “slipped through the cracks” it was a GOD AWFUL experience! My question is Nurse Whitley said Dr. Maghaphlen got off at 6:30a how do you not know where the Dr. is for hours?
