I took my sweet Bulloxer Rosie to the Vet yesterday for her last series of puppy vaccinations. I chose this office because it was close to me and had been recommend by a good friend of mine. First off, this clinic is very disorganized and some of the staff have been completely rude. We could've let that slide, but after the abuse that Rosie endured yesterday, we had to get the word out.
The Vet tech decided to take her to the back to do vaccinations because Rosie was skittish and not cooperating in the manner she wanted. I was standing outside the door and could hear her crying then growling and snarling; which, is completely out of character for Rosie. When the tech brought her out she was still distraught and didn't even want a treat.
Upon bringing her home, we noticed multiple scratches and marks in her "armpit " flank area. We immediately called and basically got dismissed from the office manager. Today we talked to owner, who wasn't any better. He stated the tech was scratched too & he would keep this internal, as if it made it okay for her to harm my puppy. I asked for an apology from the tech and the owner, Dr Al Schleappe said it was uncalled for and wasn't going to happen. He didn't even care to see the marks left on her and it left me speechless. The amount of unprofessionalism is unreal. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone!! PLEASE I cannot stress this enough, stay away!!

I have been with Caring Hearts off and on for almost 20 years and the only reason for the "off" times was due to me moving up to Prescott, then moving up to Scottsdale. Now that I've moved back closer, I'm home again and my two boys are being cared for by Hayley Schafer, DVM who I absolutely adore and trust. She has a great ability with my dogs and takes time with them along with me. The front office staff and Vet Techs are always professional and kind too.

I have been looking for a Vet Clinic for my furry, four-legged friends and have finally found Caring Hearts Clinic. I was so impressed with the entire staff. The Docs were great. Kya, my Siberian Husky has been in so much pain with ear infections for 3 months. Three Vets later I finally got resolution for her. She is perking up and sleeping better and well on her way to recovery. The best part is that I understand and actually got to see (cool video camera for the ear) what was going on. I felt like I was in a safe and caring environment from the minute I arrived. I drove 60 miles one way to get to them and will always return for any of my pets needs.
Thanks Caring Hearts, my Kya is on her way back to health.

I was never left in the dark when my pet had to stay in overnight care here. This veterinarian is so thoughtful when it comes to keeping owners fully informed on their pets condition and making follow-up calls exactly when promised. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. I could tell they really care about everyone who visits them. I was left in the appointment room by myself, but they eventually returned. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places.
