Upset with receptionist!! We just started with this Vet and the care was fine for our first visit. I then called because my other dog was having a stroke, which you can assume I was very scared and worried. They had not seen this dog yet, because we were in the process of changing over. When I called, the receptionist asked me several questions before they would let me bring in my possibly dying dog and one of the questions was...has your dog been treated for fleas this month? OMG! I was so upset. I have a dying dog and she wants to know if I treated her for fleas. Also, wanted to have all records on her. Now, if my dog is dying and in need of a doctor right away...why would records be necessary? She could be gone in a short time anyway. This was an extremely upsetting conversation with the receptionist. Obviously, the number one thought in her mind wasn't the care of my animal at that point, but what it was previous years to that. Needless to say...this is not my kind of Vet to take my animals to. The Doctor's care for my other dog was very good, but if I have to deal with a receptionist that doesn't use common sense about a dying dog and she is the first person you talk to...then I need to look elsewhere!

They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They were so informative, and thoroughly answered every single question I had regarding pet care. I left feeling like I really learned a lot.
