Stay away from the male doctor here. The receptionist/vet tech was very friendly and made a great first impression; however, within 30 seconds of being in the exam room, I realized the vet was extremely rude, and it just got worse. I don't care how close this place is to my house, I will never go back. The worst $85 / 10 minutes I ever spent.

Dr Foy and staff have always been very accommodating, taking the time to explain what is wrong with our pets and the various options, making us feel comfortable that it's always our decision. During off-hours, we have taken the animals to "emergency" locations, and we have not received the same kind of treatment. I understand our primary vet knows us and the animal better, but, if there is a non-surgical procedure needed (our one cat has needed an enema a few times), the animal typically recovers immediately upon arriving home. After getting the same procedure at "emergency" locations, it usually takes days before the animal returns to normal. They are caring and take the time so that we feel comfortable with the care our animals are receiving.

We took our dog to Bretton Ridge Veterinary a few times because the animal shelter where we purchased our dog recommended it. I do not, however, recommend them and we are in the process of looking for a new vet.

Our dog is not an easy appointment. As a chow mix it does not like other animals and does not like to be treated but is a loving dog to our family including our children. The vet suggested we put the dog down because it can be aggressive when being treated although the kennel we occasionally use does not seem to have the same problems when clipping nails or grooming.
