I got an appointment quickly and they fielded my questions without asking me a whole bunch of annoying sales probing questions back. I've never had to wait too long. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff never made me feel stupid for calling. The atmosphere was great and everyone dressed professionally; the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. They are so kind and caring, and they even met with us after hours and accommodated us with little notice. Their facility was very nice - one of the nicer and classier places I've ever visited like this. Their dining facility and menu was outstanding and the chef was great. I've recommended them time and time again because they seem to be very first rate to me and we are considering moving in to the facility in the near future

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.

The staff was incredible, always helpful and caring about what was going on in Mom's life. The housekeeping staff did a great job of keeping her apartment in shape, Erin and Vicki were accessible and always willing to take time to visit with me if we had an issue. The activities were well-planned and varied in scope. I'm so glad we chose Kendallwood Hills Estates for Mom's final years.

My mother moved in Kendallwood Hills Estates in October of 2005. Not only does my mother LOVE living there, we as her family are also VERY pleased! The staff (director, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and the kitchen staff) goes above and beyond caring for all of the residents. They are all very caring! The meal selections are varied giving each resident their own personal choices, the activities available each day are too numerous to even mention with many of the residents taking part plus having a beauty salon, small store,mobile post office and bank on the premises for the residents! We as family love knowing the security Kendallwood Hills Estates provides for our loved ones. It is a beautiful living facility for our aging family! All for a very reasonable price. Kudos to everyone at Kendallwood Hills Estates.

They were just voted "Best in the Northland" for retirement facility (two years straight!), Best waitress, 3rd best place to work, and the Director (Erin Winstead) was the best personality of the Northland. Staff goes above and beyond every time for each experience and each resident. They know everybody by name and you are not just a number like at big conglomerations... Such variety in food!! Countless options at every meal made fresh in house!! Great gardens to get fresh produce from. House keepers keep everything so neat, maintenance keeps it all running as smooth as possible! Thank you for being there!!! A place to call home for sure!

I had a parent at Kendallwood Hills. I can say from his experience that it is a very low-end facility. FOOD. One, the chef is not a meal planner nor can he create well-balanced meals. And what he does make, it’s terrible! So many of the meals are barely edible. If you look in the kitchen, you won’t want to eat there at all. It doesn’t appear to be clean or sanitary. ACTIVITIES. What activities they have are not well run. SECURITY. They have instituted a bizarre security procedure to visit--a result of an apartment robbery. I believe they have one or more residents with kleptomania, too, as the newsletter would regularly report on missing decorative items. DEPOSITS. Finally, the worst, is that because they are strapped for money, they keep deposits from residents for as long as they can. Be prepared to harass them to get your parents’ deposit back once they move out. And they take quite a cut of the deposit, too. We heard rumors that residents rarely got their full deposit back as Kendallwood always comes up with a reason to keep part of it and we found that rumor to be true. FOR SALE. The facility has been listed for sale on a real estate company’s website for awhile now. I think it would be best for the residents if the place were sold to a professional management company.

Not at all, they were glad to help me with anything I needed

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
