I was a member at this gym. One day as I was exiting the steam room wearing a beach towel, an employee at the gym alerted me to a sign that explained that a bathing suit needs to be worn in order to use the steam room. The next time I went to the gym and used the steam room, the employee was there again in the locker room as I exited the steam room. This time I was wearing a bathing suit under my towel. He assumed I wasn't wearing one under my towel and started to reprimand me in front of other members. I asked him how he knew I wasn't wearing a suit under my towel. He asked me what I was wearing under my towel. I told him it was none of his business and to leave me alone if there is no evidence that I'm doing anything wrong. Since then I had a conversation with the GM, and then today with the VP who both asked me what I was wearing under my towel. I can't believe that in this world today this is how people treat their customers. It was demeaning and insulting. Also, there are plenty of other members who don't wear bathing suits in the steam room. Asking me what I'm wearing under my towel is none of their business. I never didn't follow the rules once they were pointed out to me. They now revoked my membership because of this and the way I reacted to them calling me up to reprimand me and ask if I was wearing a suit under my towel. I have reported them to BBB.
